We Survived!!

As I speak my husband has just landed from a week long trip to Canada! To say it was a long week is an understatement when you have infant twins!! I think they knew he was gone even though they are only 3 mths old. The first few nights they were up just about every hour. i finally grabbed a shirt he left hanging over a chair and let them lay on it and they finally fell asleep! After that we were able to skype with him and they slept much bette! We all missed him so bad!! Ben was not liking that his daddy was gone. I'm so proud of Riley too! This particular trip he traveled with his big boss. He was so impressed with the way he handled global trade compliance for audits he gave him the Canada region! This is huge for him and for us as a family!! The only downfall is some possible week long trips back but his boss said he would try and keep him grounded until the babies are bigger! The kids have been at the table for an hour making him cards, I've got his favorite cookies in the oven and looking forward to Friday night wings!! Home isn't home without him here!
